A month where the excitement of Halloween and scary beauty tutorials are no longer gracing youtube, but the buzz of all things Christmas related are appearing on our Twitter feeds.
OH YES HONEYZ the stark reminder is making me feel slightly sick at the thought that we only have a week of peace until we’re all catapulted into the chaotic, cheery and festive period of December.
I mean, don’t get me wrong. I love Christmas.
I already have the 1st of December booked out in my diary to fill my house full of jazzy christmas tunes, sparkly decorations and the smell of that sweet nectar that is mulled wine. It normally ends with a good bit of Slade and being so tipsy on wine and cheer that snapchat comes out and it’s singing, filters and trying to take selfies with the cats until the end of the night.
FYI, not the cutest end to a dignified pre-christmasy party but LOL I hate to say that this hasn’t happened more than once.
So November, you’re a month where I can still retain some sort of dignity and SWEET DIGGITY doing it in style.
BTW I spent waaaay too long faffing around with my hair in the morning only for the weather to COMPLETELY frizz and flatten it by the time I got to the park, so a) I literally cannot excuse how bad my hair is in these photos and b) LOL looks like I’m going to need to research some better hair products. Pronto.
FFS why don’t I take an umbrella around with me.
I picked up this ah-ma-zing woollen two toned jacket from Marks & Spencer and I can honestly say that for those milder days that are SOMEHOW still left in November this is literally the perfect thing to wear.
I noticed it a couple of weeks ago when we were wandering around the Marks and Spencer in Cribbs Causeway (met with mostly ‘hmmm’s and ‘I guess that’s nice’ from my shopping partner) it was only when I was offered the opportunity to take part in the Quedam Shopping challenge that I was like yaaaas I’ve been in love with that jacket for weeks and now it’s MINE.
P.S it’s not a reversible jacket, but be prepared to be asked 4195 times a day whether it is by random strangers.
The knee high boots I also nabbed from Marks and Spencer because I literally couldn’t believe how SO DAMN SASSY these make me feel. They’re suede and ooooh so soft, but I would say that because they don’t have a tie near the knee they do fall down a little bit when you walk long distances which is a tad annoying and I DEFINITELY DO NOT recommend you walk on wet grass, in the park, with a 5 inch heel. Everrrr.
Not gonna lie, I literally own about 10 shirts just because I can’t believe how sophisticated and relaxed they make me feel PLUS the fit and the colour on this New Look babe is just <3<3<3.
My bag was probably the biggest steal ever because not only was this hot mumma £12.99 from my boo H&M but ALSO because I’ve worn it pretty much everyday.
Granted, it’s not the usual huge bucket kinda bag I normally carry around to house my lipstick, tissues, out of home delivery notes from DHL…. but is big enough for my huge purse, my house keys, a pair of gloves and about 35 lipsticks that I always have to carry around with me.
Y’know, the basics
I have a feeling that the next time I wear this I’m going to have to wear my outfit combo with the hat that I fell in love with at my Zara haul because it is amazing and everytime I catch myself in the mirror I’m like damn girl you look mysteriously sassy today
HAPPY SHOPPING ❤
